"I never believed in making a difference. I just thought
life was like dat. But when I found out wut Michael was going through all da care he had for everybody, I knew how important dat
was to him so I wanted to be like him. I realized how many people are sick in da world, dat many people dont realize how painful
dat iz. He inspired me to help by donating money and trying to find a cure for not only cancer, but many other diseases. To
make those peoples lives be wonderful, great for the rest of their lives. I realized of many things I have dat I didnt appreciate
before, but now I am thankful for everything. Not only did he inspired me in doing diz, but to never give up and believe in
my self. Sorry if you dont understand wut I'm trying to say, but Michael inspired me and he made a difference in me. So like
I have said to a lot of people: 'Michael is not dead, he is still alive in my heart and mind and will alwayz be alive because
he is there. He is just another wonderfl angel in heaven looking down on us, but he is still alive.'" -Clara

"When Michael died I wrote a 2 page entry in my class journal
on him because I wanted people to know about him and do what they can to help him because, unfortunatly, I have no money to
give to his organization. However, despite no money I have been involved with that Lung Association not greatly but I
did go to many houses in the cold collecting and collected $50. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but it is because we
only had particular areas to do. Last year I became a volunteer at our hospital and helped the elderly with meals
and such stuff and I like to think that Michael pushed me to do these things because I am normally a shy person." -Janet 12.16.02
