Leadership is such an amazing quality found in everyone. Even the shyest of shy can be a great leader. Being a leader doesn't have to mean making big speeches on CNN, a leader can do things as simple and impactful as helping raise awareness for various causes. Although I am slightly partial to the cause of cancer, I can't forget AIDS, poverty, war, animal rights, environment, and more are all epidemics that have gravely affected the world and will continue to ruin lives until someone stands up and says "NO" (it's a bit more than that but you know what I mean). I think anyone can be a leader! You can organize fundraisers, you can make your own foundation, you can support another foundation, or if you aren't into financial support what about awareness. Doing something as simple as telling your friends and family about organ donation and getting them to carry a card can actually save someones life. Whatever you do, try to make it something that others benefit from and put all you can in it! I have organized many things like car washes, yards sales and build-a-purse... I can't think of one person who achieved greatness for themselves or others without taking chances...

A BEAUTIFUL PRAYER

I asked God to take away my habit.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.
God said, No.
You must grow on your own! ,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said...Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

THIS DAY IS YOURS DON'T THROW IT AWAY

May God Bless You,
"To the world you might be one person, but to one
person you just might be the world"
